We record only your IP address, solely to prevent abuse; it is visible to newsroom staff only and is never linked to your identity or shared outside the newsroom. We protect the confidentiality of every source who contacts us. If you want to stay anonymous, keep the Anonymous option selected and avoid including details in your message that could identify you.
