Two Would-Be Reporters Trap Themselves in LSN Offices After Gas Incident
Two men hoping to land a spot in the newsroom sealed themselves inside the LSN offices this week — not by ambition, but by asphyxiation of their own making.
According to accounts from the scene, one of the pair released what's being described as a "self human gas" — a massive fart — before trapping his companion inside the room and feeding the fumes back in. The apparent goal? Manufacturing what they believed would be a "great story."
It was, at minimum, a memorable first day.
One of the men reportedly committed fully to the cause, declaring:
"I'm willing to sacrifice my suit jacket for a mask."
That's dedication. Misguided, eyes-watering dedication — but dedication.
Neither man's identity has been confirmed, and the exact location within the offices wasn't specified. What we do know: a newsroom built on chasing real stories nearly got taken down by two guys chasing a fake one.
There's a lesson in here somewhere about earning your byline. It does not involve gas.
