Following the earlier threat, Los Santos News received a mysterious phone call from an unlisted number. The caller, voice distorted, instructed the newsroom to retrieve a package from a discreet location. Coordinates were later sent, accompanied by a photo of a recycling bin.

The drop location was deep in one of the city's wealthiest neighborhoods. A veteran LSN reporter went undercover, dressed inconspicuously, and made the retrieval in the dead of night--fearful of being mistaken for a trespasser and even more unnerved by the sense of being followed.

The package, soaked in blood from the severed finger inside and buried in the recycling bin, contained a disturbing letter. The note read: "We took Sgt. Collins this time. Kept eight fingers on him, call it a mercy. The ink on his forehead? That's permanent. Like the mistake your boys keep making. We told you once. You didn't listen."

Sources believe the delivery and abduction were carried out by members of the LCN--allegedly. LSN is at least somewhat thankful that this gruesome delivery wasn't left on the receptionist's desk like it was last time a finger was left.
