๐Ÿš” County Cruiser Found Parked Way Off Its Beat

A Blaine County Cruiser, Miles From Home โ€” And No One At The Wheel

A Blaine County Sheriff's Office cruiser sat abandoned on the shoulder at Occupation Ave & Capital Blvd โ€” well outside the department's usual patrol zone. No deputy in sight, no explanation posted, just a county unit parked far from county lines.

LSN reached out to the BCSO text line here in the city to ask the obvious question: what's it doing out here? So far, we haven't heard back.

To be clear โ€” there's nothing here pointing to trouble. A cruiser parked outside its jurisdiction isn't a crime, and it isn't a scandal. Deputies chase calls that don't always respect a map, and BCSO may simply be heads-down on active work right now. That's the likeliest read.

So we're doing what LSN does when the story isn't fully written yet: we wait. We asked the question, and we're giving the department the room to answer it. When they do, you'll hear it here first.

If you spotted the cruiser or know why it ended up on the side of Capital Blvd, reach out to the newsroom.
